Cedar Creek Cove Resort was established, by us, Ron & Gail Misek, along with our children Ed, Kim & Jill in 1987, about a year after moving here from the Chicago area. 

We are located on 20 secluded acres outside Theodosia, Missouri on Bull Shoals Lake, close to point 19 on the water. We have a Missouri address but physically sit over the state line in Arkansas, a very quaint situation. Nineteen years ago we found a spot on the lake we thought to be perfect for a small resort with the family and sportsman in mind. We were right!! The land is surrounded by either water or corp. of engineer property, which prevents any building other than for the resort itself. We bought the house and started building cabins almost immediately. We have built seven cabins so far with plans for a few more.

We are open all year round so you can enjoy your favorite season. Deer, turkey, herons, and many other wild life species wander through the resort

Even though we are only 400 feet from the waters edge, only some of our cabins have a lake view.

When you stand on your deck or you are on the lake you will hardly see anything other than natural shoreline. Limited shoreline development has helped keep Bull Shoals from becoming polluted. The clean & traffic free waters are perfect for skiing, tubing, diving, fishing or just relaxing. Being on the lake and seeing this totally natural setting creates the feeling of total privacy. You’ll feel like you've got the entire lake to yourself.

At Cedar Creek Cove you will find clean, comfortable accommodations. We can accommodate couples, large families, and large groups. Each cabin is equipped like a small house. The kitchens are all-electric and include a 30” stove, 18 cubic ft. refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, can opener, and linens. There are plenty of pots and pans, dishes, utensils, silverware and kitchen accessories to make any chef feel right at home. For the outdoor chef we offer a covered outdoor grill on every deck.

We provide plenty of bath towels and bed linens Please bring your own beach type towels for the dock or your boat. The cabins are air conditioned to keep you cool, and are heated for year round use. Color televisions are provided.  Click here for more information on our cabins and cabin layouts.

Each cabin has it’s own campfire ring as well as one outside the game room. A campfire makes for a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the quiet and serenity of the area. Kids of all ages can enjoy playing badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, or basketball. Our game room adds another venue for fun. Serious players may wish to bring along their own pool cue or table tennis racket.

Pets are always welcome at the Cedar Creek Cove Resort. We do charge an additional fee per day for each pet. All pets must be kept leashed and cleaned up after.

Our boat dock is only 400 feet from the cabins. One can walk or drive down, your choice.  It is sometimes easier to drive down to the dock than to have to walk the hill, especially coming up. The dock has electricity and is lighted and covered. We allow fishing off the dock and can assist you in just where to throw that line! There is a fish cleaning facility at the dock, so please do not clean fish in the cabins.

Even if you are not much of a water person, you will find it enjoyable to sit down at the dock and watch the wildlife, or enjoy the tranquility. There is also a 16x14 swim area at the dock. It is located on the inside of the cove so there is no fear of speeding boats etc. To be safe, always watch your children during all activities at the lake.
